Safety
At IPAC, safety is not a program - it is our practice. We are SAFE Certified, WorkSafe BC registered, and compliant across ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, and Avetta. From remote mine sites and wind farm corridors to forestry operations and municipal construction, our field crews, subcontractors, and office teams operate under one standard: no project timeline or budget justifies compromising the safety of our people, others on-site, or the public.
Our Safety Statement
Being safe saves pain, suffering, time, and money. That belief shapes how we plan projects, how we hire subcontractors, and how we conduct ourselves every day. Safety is the first topic on every project plan and is the last thing we check before we leave for a site and for the day.
Our safety culture is supported at the top, but built from the bottom up. The people doing the work are the ones who set the example: survey crews in remote terrain, forestry teams in the BC Interior, construction crews on active industrial sites, office persons working with repetitive movements or sitting for long periods. We invest in training and tools, vehicles and equipment, and support autonomy and authority to stop and reassess when conditions are suspect or don’t feel right. We advocate critical thinking and intuition. In our opinion, that is what a genuine safety culture looks like.
Our Safety Credentials
SAFE Certified - BC Forest Safety Council
IPAC is SAFE certified under the BC Forest Safety Council Certification protocol (COR equivalent) - Certification #9080004. This certification reflects our documented safety management system and commitment to continuous improvement across all forestry and field operations.
WorkSafe BC
IPAC is registered with WorkSafe BC and maintains full compliance with BC's workplace health and safety regulations for all field operations and office activities.

ComplyWorks
IPAC maintains an active ComplyWorks account - supporting our compliance verification requirements for clients in the oil and gas, mining, and construction sectors.
Avetta
IPAC is registered with Avetta for clients who use this platform to manage contractor safety compliance and prequalification.
Core Safety Program
IPAC maintains a comprehensive safety management program covering hazard identification, field-level risk assessment, site-specific safety plans, incident reporting, and continuous improvement. Our safety systems are designed for the real-world conditions of resource and industrial field work.
Safety in Practice
Every IPAC project begins with a safety plan. Our field crews complete hazard assessments before starting work, wear appropriate PPE, and operate under site-specific safety protocols.
Our safety expectations apply equally to subcontractors and partner firms working on IPAC-managed projects. Safety compliance is a condition of engagement.
